Okay, what is the deal with Lady Macbeth praying away her femininity and calling upon the powers of darkness? Anyone see some negative consequences on the way for this loony toon? Or is she not crazy at all? Could we simply describe her as someone who really (like REALLY) wants to achieve her goals in life, consequences be damned? Could her "I'll do whatever it takes" mentality be admirable, or is it plain old dumb?

Quarter 3 has you all choosing modern novels to read, analyze, and enjoy. So, tell us, what are you reading, analyzing, and enjoying? How are you feeling about analyzing poetry? What is the most difficult part of breaking down a poem? What are some elements of poetry you need more help to fully "get"?
